We have immediate vacancies within our new vibration engineering team for Consultants and Principal Engineers. We are seeking experienced vibration engineers with the ability to undertake a range of technical services encompassing both measurement and simulation. As well as possessing excellent technical report writing, communication and presentation skills, candidates should be able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience in several of the following areas:
› Application of vibration risk based assessment techniques to piping systems and structures. › Undertaking dynamic measurements (acceleration, strain and dynamic pressure) on site in support of troubleshooting activities. › Analysis of data using modal, ODS and other suitable techniques to provide root cause assessments › Use of structural and fluid dynamic simulation packages (e.g. finite element analysis, pulsation simulation and surge analysis) › Fatigue life assessment of structures and piping systems › Provision of conceptual design for remedial measures for Brownfield modifications.
