Spanish wind giant Gamesa, has chosen the Port of Leith, near Edinburgh for its new wind turbine factory.

This is an important boost for the scottish renewables industry, which hosts one such plant already.

Welcoming Gamesa’s announcement, Prime Minister David Cameron said:

"This is fantastic news for Scotland and shows that the UK remains an attractive place for foreign investment.
